Youth Ministry

At interlínc we don’t just serve youth workers – we ARE youth ministry workers ourselves. Our staff has a broad range of youth ministry experience; some come from the best youth ministries in the country, while others are the “been-in-the-big-chair, veterans” with years of experience. Many of our staff are currently involved in youth ministry at their churches. When it comes to youth ministry, it’s not “been there – done that...” it’s" being there and still doing it"!

Some might think that we’ve adopted a philosophy of “music first” when it comes to youth ministry – not true. We’ve found some very practical ways to use music as a tool in your youth ministry. We hope that your youth ministry is rooted in discipleship, evangelism, and solid Bible teaching and that you see our resources as a way to further communicate God’s truth.

Surviving Middle School 2.0

The Book & Soundtrack to get your kids ready for Middle School
It’s big, it’s dark, and it’s coming for your kids...it’s Middle School. Middle School (some people know it as “Junior High”) is a whole new world full of new people, new schedules, weird situations and bizarre relationships. It’s a time of life when “transmogrification” takes place in kids’ bodies, homes, friendships, and brains.

Middle School is when they learn to navigate the important issues of life.

Surviving Middle School: The Book & The Soundtrack is a plethora of tips, tunes, advice and wisdom that will guide the middle schooler through these important years of his or her life. Relient K, Superchick, Tobymac, Stellar Kart and others join surfer-author Rick Bundschuh in bringing the wisdom...and the fun.

ROCK’N U Event

Weekend retreat for young musicians
Imagine a weekend retreat for teenage Christian musicians held at your church. The weekend features a semi-pro band and local musicians as instructors, with lots of workshops and performances. “Rocker’s Hours” are kept (don’t go to bed until 1:00 in the morning, have breakfast at 10:00.) The weekend finale is a concert featuring the kids and a performance by the semi-pro band.

That’s a ROCK’N U event.

This DVD and accompanying ROCK’N U Leader’s Guide gives you all you need to create your own event to motivate your student musicians and to begin the process of training your future players. With interlínc’s resources as a guide and tool, a single church or a network of churches could do a ROCK’N U event that will involve dozens of young musicians learning to use their talent for God!
