Project 86 on the road hitting summer festivals, Frontman Andrew Schwab promotes latest book, and the band partners with Mocha Club to bring relief to Ethiopia!
Project 86 partners with Mocha Club to bring relief to mothers at risk in Ethiopia.
After a very successful partnership with Charity Water in late 2009, P86 has started on a new project to bring help where it is needed most...
This is a special initiative for a very special purpose in country that has been ravaged by the aids virus.
It is estimated that 74% of all prostitutes in Ethiopia are carrying the HIV virus. Many of these are teenage mothers who are working on the streets because they have no other option for finances. P86 has decided to donate their music to this cause in order to raise awareness and funds for these young women, to provide training and resources to get them off the streets.
Here is how it works: In exchange for your commitment to give $7 per month (the price of two coffee drinks from your favorite coffee chain) to this campaign you will receive a FREE Project 86 cd. You will them receive monthly updates from P86 and Mocha Club on how your funds are affecting change in the lives of these women. You will also become a member of our Mocha Club street team, as we work together to spread the word on this project.
The band is proud to be a part of this and pray you will join us in doing something that will echo into eternity...

Frontman Andrew Schwab speaks on finding purpose in support of his new book, Fame is Infamy
Noted journalist, author, blogger and frontman Andrew Schwab is making several special appearances this summer along with band to speak to festival audiences at Soulfest, Purple Door, and Joshuafest.
"I love the opportunity to share at these events, as I get to use my gifts to (hopefully) encourage as well as entertain. God has been opening the door of opportunity as of late for me to speak more often on the subject of purpose. It seems that there are so many young people today who are searching for their identity...and there are so many who seem to be lost in the process. I am so blessed to have the chance to share from my experiences to let them know that meaning and purpose is found in simple surrender to the heart of God."
Andrew's new book, Fame Is Infamy, is must-read for anyone who is looking for purpose and meaning in a time when so many are finding only emptiness in do-it-yourself celebrity, reality TV, and social networking. He is a real voice for a generation in desperate need of something genuine.
