When 14-year-old Brian O'Neill of Washington, D.C., wanted to find out what his friends had been up to over summer vacation, he did something radical: He asked them. Social media has created an obsession with image and wealth while celebrities such as reality TV star Kim Kardashian West create a template few can live up to.  Yet Government support for young people is "creaking at the seams and not fit for purpose". Olympic News – Brazilian Churches Reaching & Discipling Unchurched Kids

For the 10 years leading up to the Rio Olympics, "Legacy" is the primary goal of a Brazil sport ministry. The objective of the training of thousands of churches in 369 cities/towns is to have ongoing long term evangelism and discipleship ministry through sport and play.
